There are happy college dropouts, too.
As for the grads, some of them still can’t leave home….

At 17.6%, our youth (age 15-24) employment rate is still better than that of 65 other countries, but it only bodes well for entrepreneurship….
Speaking of which, did you know that the founder of Tumblr traded high school for homeschooling and skipped college? He started his first business at age 11, 10 years before starting Tumblr.
Young man despondent over his debts (including student loans) takes a tragic way out….
…But let’s keep pushing college on kids, starting when they’re in kindergarten.

Finally! A few high schools have begun truly preparing kids for the 21st century, whether it involves work prep or college courses during high school.
More good news: manufacturing is slowly returning to the U.S.
Meanwhile, China is stuck with too many unsold goods, perhaps because we’re seeing such poor quality in today’s products?
High-quality online classes are proliferating at both the high school and college level.

School dress codes are out of control: kindergartener forced to change t-shirt because it displayed the wrong team.
