Managers who want promotions are taking on multiple foreign assignments (which is one reason why our kids need to learn foreign languages!)

H-P plans to cut 30,000 jobs, though none of them are in China…

…meanwhile, Chinese kids take their studies to an extreme.

Can young adults give up tech for an hour a day?

Yikes! Total U.S. student loan debt has crossed the $1 trillion mark.

It’s not very comforting to know that most of the slight increase in jobs created by U.S. companies over the past two years is for jobs found in other countries.

Meanwhile, factory orders have fallen off a cliff (largest decline in three years!)

Some believe many jobs are gone for good, so make sure your kids are prepared to work for themselves!

Hmmm…school is no place to create innovators. Where have I heard that before? (Right here.)

Nothing gets kids’ attention like being lined up and fired at by a teacher with a handgun loaded with blanks.

…while others say it’s a great year for new college grads to find jobs.

Meanwhile, in other areas of our economy, things are still slow.

Tots really don’t need to learn computer coding

…but these first-graders are having some success with computers as learning tools.

Homeschooling means knowing your kids will get the lunch you fixed for them, not the one some government official thinks they should eat.
