Finally! A few high schools have begun truly preparing kids for the 21st century, whether it involves work prep or college courses during high school.

More good news: manufacturing is slowly returning to the U.S.

Meanwhile, China is stuck with too many unsold goods, perhaps because we’re seeing such poor quality in today’s products?

High-quality online classes are proliferating at both the high school and college level.

It’s important to raise tech-savvy kids, but they also need to know right from wrong or they’ll put their skills to the wrong use.

As I noted in Thriving in the 21st Century, there are still a few career fields where pay is actually going up…

…but according to the U.S. Census Bureau, household income continues to drop, as does the number of people with full-time employment.

Just because a college or grad school claims to have grads with high employment rates doesn’t make it so.
